Since our beginnings in studies of Allelopathy (1985) -study of the chemical language of plants- the group FQM-286, a pioneer in Europe, not only studies which specialized metabolites are involved in chemical interactions between plants and the ecosystem, but also in how their biological effects act and exert. Project full of new challenges through chemistry, the study of natural products, isolation, structural elucidation, partial and total synthesis, structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies, bioassays and recently nanoencapsulations and bioavailability, looking for applications in Agriculture and Pharmacology.
