Since 2012 the group has executed two projects of excellence of the National Plan (Riparia and Riparia2 projects) and four FEDER infrastructure projects :UNCA13-1E-2610 (2013); 5791-1152586 IVAGRO (2017); EQC2018-004232-P (2018); EQC2019-005666-P (2019). Since 2016 it has executed 25 contracts art. 83 LOU for a total of 135,000 euros, and 17 projects with our peripheral research service for an amount of 45,000 euros. We are currently supervising 9 doctoral theses and have recently defended 7. We have two research laboratory (Agustín de Horozco Seminary, Cádiz campus; History Laboratory, Jerez campus, with a current staff of seven researchers.

Since 2006 I have re-oriented my research career to the study of water in Antiquity and the non-invasive techniques applications. I have more of 75 publications (1993 – 2019).
