The group throughout its history has taken a very definite orientation towards research on Cultural Heritage directed towards Protection/Research, Conservation/Restoration and Dissemination. These fields have been complemented with fundamental disciplines such as iconography and palaeography, as well as with the incorporation of new resources and techniques such as 3D scanning. This intense activity has generated collaborations with companies and institutions, as well as important actions for the social transfer of knowledge. Its members also carry out the direction of different doctoral theses.

Doctor of Art History, Professor of the Uca where he was Director of the Secretariat of Heritage and coordinator of the Inventory of Cultural Heritage. His line of research focuses on Cultural Heritage, both in real estate and History of Architecture, and in the city and landscape as large cultural containers. Similarly, on movable properties, with a special focus currently on industrial and scientific-technical typology, developing methodologies and analyses based on interdisciplinarity as a source of research on heritage.
