Technology Expertise

The Group is recognized as a 'Group of Excellence' by the Andalusian Research, Development and Innovation Plan of the Andalusian Government.

It is a multidisciplinary group of highly qualified teaching and research staff, structured around 3 main research lines:

1. Environmental Engineering and Treatment Technologies.

2. Environmental Quality and Ecotoxicology.

3. Optimization of grid-connected photovoltaic plants.

Regarding the scientific production of the Group, it has more than 550 scientific publications in high-impact international journals, as well as more than 20 patents, 250 R&D projects in competitive public calls, 299 contracts with companies and 264 Doctoral Theses.
