Composition of Joint Unit of Research, if relevant

The Structure and Chemistry of Nanomaterials Group gathers up to 14 researchers with expertise at the international level in the field of atomic scale characterization of materials by Advanced Electron Microscopy Techniques.

It counts with experts in each of the different SEM/TEM/STEM techniques currently available in modern electron microscopes.

Though the main interest focuses on nanomaterials for Environmental Catalysis and Sustanaible Energy Sources, other fields are covered in different projects and national/international collaborations, as it is the case of Biomedicine, Agrochemistry or Geochemistry.
