Composition of Joint Unit of Research, if relevant

Since 2012 the group has executed two projects of excellence of the National Plan (Riparia and Riparia2 projects) and four FEDER infrastructure projects :UNCA13-1E-2610 (2013); 5791-1152586 IVAGRO (2017); EQC2018-004232-P (2018); EQC2019-005666-P (2019). Since 2016 it has executed 25 contracts art. 83 LOU for a total of 135,000 euros, and 17 projects with our peripheral research service for an amount of 45,000 euros. We are currently supervising 9 doctoral theses and have recently defended 7. We have two research laboratory (Agustín de Horozco Seminary, Cádiz campus; History Laboratory, Jerez campus, with a current staff of seven researchers.

Professor in Ancient History, 3 sexennium research, 6  quinquenial teaching stretch. Total number quotes of 783 (Google Scholar-28/04/2020); H index: 14; i10: 19. Specialist in Baetican amphoric production; production and trade of fishsauce; salinae maritimae in Antiquity; instrumentum domesticum epigraphy. Member of CEIPAC since 1997 (UB). Expert in the Greco-Latin literature, specially agronomics sources. Expert in analyse about geography, articulation of territory and historical landscape. Since 2006 I have re-oriented my research career to the study of water in Antiquity and the non-invasive techniques applications. I have more of 75 publications (1993 – 2019).
