We work in studies of prehistoric, classical and archaeometry of the geohistorical region of the Strait of Gibraltar. We are interested in studies of the historical process, from a scientific and interdisciplinary archeology perspective. Point out the notable international activity, with more than 50 research projects obtained in competitive competition, in Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Mexico and Italy. And the specialization in marine-maritime themes, with strategic actions: Master in Nautical and Underwater Archeology, Monographic Doctorate Program (Maritime History and Archeology) and the promotion of the Institute of Maritime History and Archeology.
