Archaeological prospection and excavation of funeral structures.
Study, research and diffusion of recent prehistoric activities in the south of the province of Cadiz. megalithism, rock art, archaeoastronomy.
Ethnoarchaeological research on female ceramics in the Rif (Morocco) and northern Tunisia: annual campaigns in situ, exhibitions and workshops in the province of Cadiz in agreement with the Diputación Provincial.
Diffusion of archaeological heritage: design of interpretation centres, museums, exhibitions and workshops. Participation in national and international congresses and seminars.

Graduated in History at the Univ. of Cádiz (1983). She specialised in Prehistory and did her doctorate with El Campaniforme en Andalucía Occidental. Since 1988 she has been a professor at the Univ. of Cádiz, Area of Prehistory, and became a lecturer in 2004. She was part of PAIDI HUM-440 and in 2004 she created the group HUM-812. In 2014 she is appointed as a member of the Academia Andaluza de la Historia. Her main lines of research have been centred on the study of recent prehistoric societies: ceramics, metallurgy, settlements, funerary customs and rock painting, and on ethnoarchaeology.
