Short description of research profile

Influence of Transition to the Renewable Energy Sources on Maritime Transport, Sustainable Development and Labour Market Policy; Proceeding from the fact that sustainable development is the key principle of Environmental Law, this research aims to determine whether transition to renewable energy sources has contributed to its intensification,  but also to the decreasement  of pollution and increasement of expenses in maritime sector as well.

Short description of research profile

The Environmental Impacts of Maritime Shipping; The aim is to establish, by using scientific method, whether our hypotheses according to which cruise ships are greater polluter than cargo ships in the Adriatic Sea is founded. The other question that should be considered within this research is whether air pollution from ships is already declining as a result of implementation of several international and European regulations obliging to emission reduction.
