Centre for Integrative Bioethics
Our research group deals with a whole range of bioethical issues, but mostly animal ethics and bioethical education. In that context and following the idea of integrative bioethics, it is open for contributions from different scientific perspectives to philosophical analysis concerning moral regard toward non-human living beings and the ways in which it can be applied in education. A chance for dialogue on these issues is especially our annual (in October) conference Days of animal STudies.
Migration, Human Rights and Education
The impact of (cultural) identity features on forming attitudes on migration. The research is structured into three levels:
i. into the general attitude towards migration,
ii. the relationship between attitudes on migration and general beliefs and values,
iii. subjects' political and ethical backgrounds
