Our group has analyzed the regulatory functions in T-cells of the LAT and NTAL membrane adapters, as well as their relationship to the Lck kinase. Our lines of research aim to deepen the study of these functions and analyze the implications in some immune-based pathologies such as rheumatoid arthritis, since aberrant activation of T cells seems to be at the basis of the initiation and/or maintenance of this disease. Our research includes studies with cell lines, with mice, and analysis of primary lymphocytes of patients and controls.
