PI bio

Dr Michalina Petelska is a historian and a museologist, in her works she shows Poland and Poles seen through the eyes of foreigners. She also studies emigration from Polish lands in the 19th and 20th centuries. In the years 2014 - 2016 she worked at the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. Dr Petelska cooperates with migration museums in various European countries and in Canada. A member of, among others, the Polish Association for Canadian Studies, the Association of Polish Museum Professionals and a correspondent member of the Polish-Skandinavisk Forskninginstitut.
