Composition of Joint Unit of Research
Lab-LEX is a research laboratory working on law. It is part of both the Université de Bretagne Occidentale and Université Bretagne Sud. Lab-LEX was created from an amalgamation of three research centers located in Brest and Vannes. The common goal is to develop innovative, fundamental and empirical research in private and public law.

Short description of research profile
Lab-LEX researchers are working on three research themes: vulnerability, governance and litigation. Lab-LEX organizes study days, seminars and workshops on these subjects. Moreover, this laboratory is dedicated to developing strong international relationships, allowing regular contact and interactions with partner universities around the world.
