My work has been and is focused on the development of specific hardware solutions based on the automatic synthesis of circuits from descriptions in VHDL and optimized for their implementation in FPGAs.
The fields of application of these developments have been varied, such as circuits for the automation of the Boundary Scan test (JTAG), specific signal processors with application in the evaluation of the quality of the power supply, optimized controllers for coils destined to the electro-stimulation or digitalized emulators of the behavior of neural networks.

Technology Expertise

The group develops its activity in the field of electronic design, especially in the synthesis from behavioral descriptions written in hardware languages (HDL).
It has experience in the use of microcontrollers, FPGAs and PSoCs, as well as in the integration of these and other devices to form complete electronic systems.
He has worked in several fields, such as automatic Boundary Scan testing, the implementation of complex algorithms in configurable components, the control of coils for electro-stimulation, the application of artificial intelligence techniques in low level devices, the treatment of high dynamic range light sensors, neural networks or data anonymization.
