The laboratory consists of systems equipped with 1000W or 250W xenon lamps, medium pressure lamps, reactors with light sources in the form of LEDs emitting UV, Vis or IR radiation, and measuring equipment: HPLC, FID-GC, TCD-FID, BID-GC, TOC analyser, GC-MS, HS-GC-MS, UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Depending on the type of reaction, glass reactors with quartz windows, Teflon, steel or test tube reactors are used. Action Spectra is a unique system for studying the mechanisms of photochemical reactions. The set up includes: photoreactor, monochromatic light source, gas chromatograph with BID detector, FTIR spectrometer with gas cuvettes, optical meter, magnetic stirrer, gas mass flow controller and membrane pump.
