Building Materials Laboratory

The laboratory for testing of construction materials provides facilities for testing of common building materials, such as aggregates, stone, cementitious materials, concrete, ceramic materials etc. The services offered include the possibility to determine mechanical and physical properties of the building materials, corrosion rate and durability of concrete, granulometric composition of the aggregate, rheological properties of fresh vibrated concrete, volumetric changes of concrete and other relevant tests. Further, the capabilities include mix design and testing of the properties of normal and special concrete in the fresh and hardened state.
