Work and Organizational Psychology

Organizational Agency & Empowerment Research focuses on the psychological and managerial foundations of agency and empowerment in organizational contexts. The research examines how organizational boundaries, cultural conditions, and work environments shape individual and collective agency in diverse types of organizations, including public and business sectors.

• A great part of our research focuses on the phenomenon of Metacognitive Self, understood as self-awareness of biases in social perception. Our research reports to date indicate the motivating role of the metacognitive self in learning, it's importance for human development, and is rooted in cognitive processing.
