Research on Scandinavian drama and theatrical traditions in Scandinavia, combining insights from theatre, literature, culture, and translation studies; especially:

  • Ibsen’s dramas and their Polish translations
  • Carnivalesque tendencies in Holberg’s comedies   
  • Postwar Norwegian theatre and drama (especially in relations to B. Brecht, J. Grotowski, and E. Barba)
  • The Sámi-language theatre, Beaivváš Sámi Našunálateáhter
