PI bio

Ana Marušić is Professor of Anatomy and Chair of the Department of Research in Biomedicine and Health at the University of Split School of Medicine, Split, Croatia. She is an Honorary Professor at the University of Edinburgh in the UK. She is the Co-Editor in Chief of the Journal of Global Health. Prof. Marušić is on the Steering Group of the EQUATOR Network and is the Co-Chair of the Cochrane Scientific Committee. She is also on the Council of the Committee for Publication Ethics (COPE).  Prof. Marušić was the President of the EASE, CSE, and WAME and member of the ICMJE. Prof. Marušić has more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and was heavily involved with creating the policy of mandatory registration of clinical trials in public registries which helped change the legal regulation of clinical trials worldwide.

The main topic of out research is evidence-based medicine research and professionalism in health. Research and publications are primarily on the themes of research integrity, clinical health-care guidelines and research education in medicine.
