PI bio

Professor of Management is an PI of the SEJ-449 group and has been involved in various research projects of the National and Andalusian Plan. He was supervisor of 10 PhD theses and 5 pre-doctoral grants. He is currently director of the doctoral program "Business Management and Economic Environment". He has been Director of the Department of Business Organization and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences at the University of Cadiz. He is a member of the Research Commission of the University of Cadiz. Has published in Scientometrics, J. of Intellectual Capital, Mgmt Research Rew., Cross Cult. Management, J. Bus. Ethics, Brit. J. Manage, Int. J. Hum. Resour. Manag among others.

Technology Expertise

At present research activity is developed on two lines of work: intellectual capital in academic research groups and CSR and human resources management. These lines are financed with projects in competitive calls, both national and regional.
The elaboration of PhD theses with an international mention and the direction competitive research scholarships (FPI) are a essential part of our research activity.
The group co-organizes with the Pablo de Olavide U. the Inter. workshop on HRM, an internationally prestigious biannual event (https://sites.google.com/site/intworkshophrm/home).
Also, we take account off the research transfer as one of our main activities
