Short description of research profile

Cahiers ERTA is a platform for scientific exchange on modern and contemporary French literature. Cahiers ERTA was first designed as a series of “Around…” monographs, published as part of the activities of the scientific research group ERTA (research team in applied theory), founded in 2006 by Ewa Wierzbowska, Tomasz Swoboda and Olga Wronska. Two monographs were published in 2008 and 2011. In 2012, the ERTA group created a Modern French and Francophone Literature Research Group (new members: Katarzyna Kotowska, Paulina Tarasewicz, Jadwiga Bodzinska-Bobkowska) and decided to transform the monographs into a review which materialized in 2013 for the publication of the third issue. Cahiers ERTA is open to methods of interpretation and theories applicables to the study of a literary work (structural, poststructural, thematic, comparatist, narratological, etc.
