Short description of research profile

The mission of CinTurs is the development and transfer of knowledge towards the sustainable development of tourism destinations and the well-being of tourists, visited communities and employees in the tourism industry.

CinTurs is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and received the grade of “Very Good” in all evaluation periods.

 

CinTurs develop research in three main areas:
