MEGERA- Geomatic methods in the assessment of ancient human remains

Besides studying osteological remains, she specialises in the anatomo-clinical analysis of ancient texts and artworks in order to identify the historical presentation and evolution of diseases throughout history. She is also specialises in the field of anatomical education. She strongly supports cadaveric dissection and believes that the best anatomy teaching practice requires the careful adaptation of resources and methods including the use of ceroplastic/museal collections, the wax modelling or the creation of 3D models (twin digital) of museal specimens. Her reaserach interests also include the study of Cardiovascular Diseases.
