The laboratory is conceived with the aim of fostering empirical and experimental research projects in the field of education and didactics, effectively “resetting” traditional approaches and promoting innovation through the integration of technologies and digital tools, which increasingly intersect with learning processes and pedagogical practices. The educational impact of this space lies in enriching both the curriculum and the experiential learning opportunities of students enrolled in the innovative Master’s Degree program LM-50/93.
The members of LaTEC (Laboratory of Thermo-fluid dynamics, Energy, and HVAC systems) of the Engineering Department at the Università degli Studi di Napoli "Parthenope" have international scientific experience in the fields of computational thermo-fluid dynamics, fuel cells, geothermal energy conversion, energy planning, polygeneration systems, renewable energy sources, thermoeconomic analysis of energy systems and biomedical engineering.

The main research interests are in the field of signal and image processing, with particular reference to Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and microwave remote sensing.
Her most significant scientific contributions are the following:
- development of radar imaging techniques based on one bit coding of the received signal, that can be implemented for real-time processing on simple low cost architectures;
- development of statistical techniques for moving target detection using SAR systems
