Fabio Baselice was born in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy, in 1982. He received the BS and MS degrees (summa cum laude) in Telecommunication Engineering and the PhD degree in Information Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope in 2004, 2007, and 2010 respectively.
In 2007 he has been visiting student at Département TSI of Télécom ParisTech, Paris, France, where he focused on SAR data.
In 2010 he has been Visiting Scientist at the Vision Lab, Department of Physics, University of Antwerp, Belgium, where he focused on MRI data.
In 2011 and 2012 he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazioni (CNIT).
Currently, he is Associate Professor with the Engineering Department of the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope.
He is founding member of the GNB, member of the GTTI and of the CNIT. He is also member of the Research Unit of Magnetoencephalography for biomedical applications (MEG-BioApp) , ISASI-CNR.
He is author of more than 100 scientific papers published in International Journals and in Conference Proceedings. His main research interests deal with Statistical Signal and Image Processing applied to Biomedical Imaging Systems.
