Short description of shared resource

The apparatus consists of 3 large vacuum chambers. In the first of them there is an ion source, in the second - a mass spectrometer with electron optics, forming the ion beam, in the third - a collision cell with an observation window. The light generated in collisions inside the collision cell is projected outside by a system of mirrors to the spectrograph. By using a multi-channel detection system with single photon counting, the measurement system is very sensitive.
