Short description of shared resource

The accelerator consists of three modules: ion source, gas pedal and measurement chamber. In the measurement chamber there is a system to form a perpendicular beam of atoms or thermal molecules. Additionally in the ion beam path an exchange chamber is implemented, to neutralize the ion beam. Photons emitted by excited atoms or ions are recorded by photon counting method. The design of the collision chamber enables registration of light coming directly from the collision point or at some distance from it. The laboratory enables analyses of small ion collisions at energies up to 25 keV.
