Broker Artax μ-XRF spectrometer

ARTAX is a portable device for X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF spectrometer) designed for the special needs of non-destructive determination of the elemental composition of the sample.

Short description of the method:

When the elements in the sample are exposed to a high-intensity X-ray source, fluorescent X-rays will be emitted from the sample at an energy level unique to those elements. The basic parts of the spectrometer are the high voltage power supply unit, the measuring head, the positioning system for the measuring head and the device control system. The source radiates the sample and the detector measures the fluorescent x radiation emitted from the sample
