Short description of research profile

The concepts of Corporate Compliance and Corporate Governance are increasingly mentioned in the context of discussion about the essential features of good corporate governance, ie in the debates on management and control rules for listed companies (corporate governance), which regulations contain internationally and nationally recognized standards of good and responsible corporate governance. The concept of corporate compliance denotes the duty of the company to bring the company's actions into line with certain principles and regulations.

The main topic of the research is the business judgment rule (BJR). The rule reads that there is no breach of duty if, in the case of an entrepreneurial decision, the Board member was reasonably expected to act on the basis of appropriate information for the benefit of the Company. Within the scope of the corporate judgment, there is no full judicial review of the appropriateness of the actions taken by the managers. There is no doubt that the board of the LLC almost always make entrepreneurial decisions under uncertainty and often under great time pressure.

Concept is based on the Sun tracking large cruising ship, equipped with aeroponic greenhouses slowly cruising on the sea. During cruising plants are growing and harvesting, even packing and delivering to the nearest markets. If plants demands fast growing then ship can cruise in Equatorial area, thus boost Sun energy into plants via photosynthesis process. The ship can also use solar and wind energy for powering thus cruising with zero emission.

Short description of research profile

New teaching methods and strategies are designed and their impact on learning and teaching is evaluated. The influence of different didactic methods and application of technologies in teaching is investigated with the aim of better adoption of new concepts that are introduced during the teaching process. Research is conducted at all levels of education: from preschool to graduate level of education, in the natural environment of students in their classes (groups) in the presence of subject teachers without the influence of external factors.

The Environmental Impacts of Maritime Shipping; The aim is to establish, by using scientific method, whether our hypotheses according to which cruise ships are greater polluter than cargo ships in the Adriatic Sea is founded. The other question that should be considered within this research is whether air pollution from ships is already declining as a result of implementation of several international and European regulations obliging to emission reduction.
