Short description of research profile

The aim of the scientific group is the development of multifunctional potentiometric sensors in solid state with membranes with the addition of nano particles. A secondary objective is to develop simple potentiometric sensors for the determination of chemical species of interest that would have improved properties. Improved sensor performance will be based on simpler preparation of samples for analysis (does not matter discoloration and turbidity of the sample), improved chemical, physical and electrical properties.

Short description of research profile

New teaching methods and strategies are designed and their impact on learning and teaching is evaluated. The influence of different didactic methods and application of technologies in teaching is investigated with the aim of better adoption of new concepts that are introduced during the teaching process. Research is conducted at all levels of education: from preschool to graduate level of education, in the natural environment of students in their classes (groups) in the presence of subject teachers without the influence of external factors.

Short description of research profile

Investigation of composite multi-drum stone column under an earthquake. The purpose of this research is to investigate several key parameters on the bearing capacity of a composite free-standing multi-drum stone column under an earthquake. Also, within these studies a large amount of experimental data on the behaviour of stone column due to earthquakes would be collected.
