Before joining academia, she worked for three years in a Dutch company in the design and implementation of complex ICT solutions for global markets. In her teaching activities (courses OLAP systems, ERP systems, E-business, E-learning), she uses examples and studies on the use of business intelligence technologies, visualisation tools (open data), and smart devices. The group focuses on user-oriented (re)design of business processes and the development of modern information systems based on smart technologies. The concepts are tested in the domain of smart cities. Some expected results are: innovations in the planning and modelling practices of user-oriented information systems, more active participation and increased satisfaction of IS users (in the private or public sector), quadruple helix partnership in R&D related to social challenges of smart cities, and improving the adoption of public services in the G2C/C2G environment.
