Raffaele Fiorentino is Full Professor in "Business models in Fashion, art and Food Industries" at the University of Naples Parthenope, Italy, where he is the Director of the “Business and Economics” Department. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Naples Parthenope, Italy. His research interests are related to strategic management, business evaluation, sustainability strategies, digital transformation, creative and cultural industries. He published in several international journals, including Small Business Economics, Studies in Higher Education and Management Decision.

Short description of research profile

The research activities of the Group focus on three main areas:

  • Accounting. This line of research analyses accounting, accounting history, financial reporting, non-financial information, public accounting, information systems, acounting valuations, accounting principles, forensic and fiscal accounting.
  • Management. This line of research analyses strategic management, decision-making processes, business idea generation, success of companies, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, business models, turnaround strategies, sustainability strategies, digital transformation.
  • Business administration. This line of research analyses value cration, business evaluation, performance measurement, management control, business planning, intellectual capital, internal auditing and risk management.

Research topics encompass, but are not limited to:

  • public administration;
  • creative and cultural industries;
  • Tourism;
  • Healthcare;
  • public service companies.
