The Laboratory conducts research in three selected fields of literary studies (anthropology of literature, genology and comparative literature) and culture studies. The subject of scientific interest is the latest Russian literature and its relations with other Eastern Slavic literatures, as well as selected fields of contemporary culture (including cinema and popular culture).
Te Division of International Financial Markets is involved in scientific research in the areas of: finance, international finance, international financial markets, banking (including Islamic banking), currency risk management, trade finance.

Phytotoxicity of chemical contaminants of the water environment: physiological, biochemical and molecular responses of plants and green algae to pharmaceuticals, herbicides and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Factors influencing the cell cycle of the green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Transient and stable transformation of selected plant and green algae species: production of recombinant proteins, lipids and waxes.
