Geometry of Entanglement
Marcin Wieśniak's team is focus on proposing new criteria to recognize strictly quantum correlations. The newly-found criteria are characterized by friendliness to experimental implementation, high computability, and versality.

Department of Transportation Market
Department of Transportation Market is one out of five chairs involved in research at Faculty of Economics. It was founded in 1991 and currently is one of the leading units in research of air transport and urban transport. It cooperates with a variety of scientific institutions but is well known of for its practical aspects of research. Its research activity focuses on economics of urban and air transport, railway transport, marketing research, marketing management in transport and transformation of transport markets, mobility.
Nephrology Unit in Dept. of General and Medical Biochemistry
I am currently working on the immunologic features of human podocytes, as well as role of Klotho and NPP1 proteins in the course of diabetic nephropathy. Previously, I studied genetics and immunology of sarcoidosis and tuberculosis. I work with cell lines, I perform quantitative analyses of gene and protein expression. I also implement techniques like immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry, and analyse glycolitic parametres of podocytes by measurement of extracellular acidification.
Diversity and Inclusion Research Lab
- brings together researchers with different methodological approaches (social sciences and humanities);
- using research strategies focusing on various facets of diversity;
- communication barriers;
- migrants' access to public health;
- climate migration;
- the social-cultural adaptation of migrants.
Division of Experimental Ecology of Marine Organisms
Our main research topics are: (1) zoobenthos with a special emphasis on species as well functional diversity, (2) biology, ecology and ecophysiology of benthic invertebrates with a special emphasis on non-indigenous species and anthropogenic pressure (3) innovative aquaculture with a special emphasis on recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) and invertebrates. We work in the field, mainly in coastal waters, and conduct laboratory research based on an experimental approach.
Social and Applied Psychology Research Team
- A great part of our research focuses on the phenomenon of Metacognitive Self, understood as self-awareness of biases in social perception. Our research reports to date indicate the motivating role of the metacognitive self in learning, it's importance for human development, and is rooted in cognitive processing.
