Educational sciences

The research group Digitization, Learning, and School Leadership works with issues and opportunities related to the use of digital learning and solutions in and for teaching and leadership in the school. The group has a clear educational research profile in addition to an emphasis on leadership, and its work is also relevant in light of university education and pedagogy.

The research group focuses on music-related learning processes, their structures, contexts, influencing factors, and related didactical aspects.

The projects conducted by the group use mainly empirical approaches; a large spectrum is covered from arts-based research and qualitative studies to quasi-experimental methodological designs.

The research group Quality in Early Childhood Education and Care, and Kindergarten Teacher Education (KIBB) is a multi-methodical, interdisciplinary research group, with an overall aim to work towards increasing quality in both Early Childhood Education and Cares (ECEC) as well as in the Kindergarten Teacher Education.

Fields of research in educational settings are multidisciplinary, with a common focus on extended classroom and varied instructional methods.

Research within the research group focuses on teaching and learning in different environments outside the classroom and the use of different teaching approaches. Furthermore, the research concerns various aspects of teaching and learning, and teaching methods, such as what the types of teaching/learning can entail, and why and how these teaching methods or activities are appropriate in certain contexts.

The research group is made up of members representing various disciplines and professional groups, with the common aim of centering our research on the profession, practice, and development related to kindergarten and school. The research group has partners from several universities and colleges nationally and internationally.

CEAD's mission is to promote and carry out research activities on Adult Education and Community Intervention, build and disseminate scientific knowledge with social utility, and support planning and decision-making processes in the field. We believe that education takes place in all spaces and throughout the life cycle.

La créativité, l'écriture créative, les techniques théâtrales dans l'enseignement/apprentissage des langues étrangères: du français langue étrangère, anglais langue étrangère, espagnole langue étrangère. Nous visons dans le projet de prouver le bienfait de la créativité sur le développement des compétences sociales: l'ouverture ver l'autre, la compréhension de l'autre, le respect de l'autre, l'empathie et sur l'efficacité dans l'apprentissage des langues étrangères dont la finalité est l'autonomie.
