Aleksandra Peplińska - research and Teaching Staff Member at the Institute of Psychology, University of Gdańsk

• Supervisor of the Work and Business Psychology specialization within the Psychology program

• Her research interests include, among others, work psychology, workplace wellbeing, career planning and professional development, as well as work–life balance

• Between 2019 and 2022, she was a member of the research team in the international project Working Yet Poor, funded under the Horizon 2020 programme

• Teaches courses such as Work Psychology, Psychology of Unemployment, and Career and Professional Development

• Head of the Postgraduate Studies in Transport Psychology at the Faculty of Social Sciences

Short description of research profile

The Work Resilience Lab is dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research on the psychological well-being of employees in the context of contemporary labor market challenges. The Lab explores how resilience can be cultivated at the individual, team, and organizational levels, with a focus on the role of leadership, changing work environments, and employment precarity. Our aim is to generate evidence-based insights that support the development of healthier, more adaptive workplaces while informing interventions, policies, and leadership practices that promote sustainable employee well-being and professional growth.
