The group focuses on user-oriented (re)design of business processes and the development of modern information systems based on smart technologies. The concepts are tested in the domain of smart cities.

The Department researchers keep close professional relations with Polish and foreign research centers, government institutions, non-governmental organizations and business practice, providing consulting and training services for both enterprises and government agencies. They participate in European projects as well as in research programs for international institutions.

LEGO is a university research laboratory supported by two universities (Université de Bretagne Occidentale and Université de Bretagne Sud) and an engineering school (Institut des Mines Telecom Atlantique).

It focuses mainly on the study and analysis of exchanges between socio-economic actors. Researchers rely on multidisciplinary skills from Economics, Management and Management Sciences.
